Administration

The ICT Information Security Architecture Lead manages information security governance architecture, strategies, policies, processes, KRIs, procedures and execution plans in compliance with State’s regulatory mandate, company’s risk mitigation requirements and in line with industry standards, frameworks, methodologies and best practices.
This role also provides leadership in designing preventive security architecture to fulfill security requirements extending to the areas of implementing network security, system security, application security, cloud security and secure software development.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Derive information security architecture pillars for GRC from corporate risk management and business continuity planning requirements to ensure availability, confidentiality and integrity.
2. Liaise with the company’s physical security department for assurance of end-to-end risk/security management integrations and protection of company’s tangible and intangible assets.
3. Establish information security strategy, objectives, KRIs and roadmap in integration with industry frameworks, standards, methodologies and best practices to secure end-to-end ICT architecture building blocks, products, services and operations.
4. Conduct strategic qualitative and quantitative risk assessment activities to identify and classify risks and ensure updating information security strategies.
5. Determine security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements to execution plans.
6. Develop information security governance structure including policies, processes, roles/responsibilities charts, procedures, guidelines and documentation for securing ICT engagements, processing and operations.
7. Design, build, implement and continuously enhance a highly adaptive enterprise-class security system to protect WOQOD’s operations and services from internal and external threats and risks.
8. Approve infrastructure and application product and service portfolio in alignment with information security architecture governance criteria and requirements.
9. Implement information security solutions and services that enable seamlessly secured provisioning and integration of on premise and cloud-based ICT products and services.
10. Enforce security controls in project and service/product lifecycle management to ensure minimal impact of potential new security risks.
11. Oversee enforcement of information security requirements in ICT contractual, vendor and supplier management processes and procedures.
12. Provide 2nd level of support for all major incidents related to information security in data center, disaster recovery site and remote sites.
13. Manage, follow up, close and report upon all department’s information security regulatory requirements, audits, inconformity reports, compliance issues and observations that arise during conducted internal and external assurance engagements.
14. Provide quarterly and yearly training and awareness on emerging information security threats and risks using campaigns, flyers, ads, computer-based learning materials, visual aid materials and documentation for raising organizational maturity of information security.

Minimum Qualifications:

Coordination of Offers
• Prepare drafts offer letters for accepted candidates for review by Recruitment Officer.
