West Midlands Trains UK Jobs Description 2021

West Midlands Trains has an exciting opportunity for a Duty Station Manager to join our Customer Experience LNR team at Milton Keynes Central on a Full-Time Permanent basis.

The role will involve providing direct line management to the front-line stations’ teams within including stations, ticket office and gate-line teams. This includes, responsibility for the customer experience on all staffed, unstaffed stations and other TOC managed stations. This is a key role in ensuring the delivery of effective improvement plans to include customer satisfaction, safety, performance and reliability and community engagement.

The successful post holder will provide management and direction to the front-line stations team to ensure delivery of the West Midlands Trains objectives, to create an amazing experience for our people and our customers. You will also lead team to ensure that all actions arising from the Service Quality Review audit are actioned in line with our obligations.

As you will be managing of a workforce spread geographically across different locations, our successful candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills and proven record in building teams plus a high level of influence and the ability to lead teams to deliver positive results. You will also have the right style to motivate, lead and influence others in line with Abellio and London Northwestern Vision, brand and culture and possess the drive and passion to manage change and innovation.
