Your day to day

• Manage information technology systems, hardware and software applications to voco® Doha West Bay Suites IT standards. • Oversee the ongoing development and testing of our disaster recovery plan (DRP) and business continuity plan (BCP) to minimize risks associated with downtime. • Undertake routine risk management and audit processes to monitor system user compliance in accordance with voco® Doha West Bay Suites IT standards. • Update and implement an IT troubleshooting guide and train key staff in IT systems and application use. • Ensure all operating systems, licenses and service agreements are kept up to date and that external vendors comply with agreed response times, SLA’s and budgetary guidelines. • Monitor file server performance, back-ups and system performance in line with agreed standards. • Manage and maintain operating system and firewall security and implement updates as required. • Update IT policies and procedures in accordance with voco® Doha West Bay Suites IT standards and with regard to systems and process enhancements. • Maintain user database and ensure user profiles are updated in a timely manner. • Develop and manage IT business process strategy to ensure future state requirements are planned for and implemented within agreed timeframes. • Attend to system maintenance and breakdown requirements in a timely manner. • Work closely with external service providers and vendors to develop effective relationships and promote “best practice” in all dealings. • Identify opportunities to reduce IT related costs through managing processes in house. • Prepare and submit IT management reports as required. • Attend to guest related IT enquiries and provide assistance as required. • Maintain and update the computer hardware asset register. • Ensure all voco® Doha West Bay Suites IT policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. • Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive data at all times. • Uphold high standards of professional conduct and communications with internal and external customers at all times

Your day to day

• Provide a professional and courteous service at all times and ensure that all employees of the assigned outlet follow the example. • Ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organised at all times. • Execute and demand the team to execute the highest level of service and set-up standards at all times. • Be knowledgeable of all services and products offered by the hotel. • Understand thoroughly the concept of the outlet and train all employees of the outlet in regards to the concept. • Set an example in terms of service, products and guidance of the team that reflects the concept. • Actively participate in menu design in cooperation with the Executive Chef. • Organise tastings of daily dishes and new menus. • Know the restaurant scene and gastronomic character of the destination and be recognized in the market. • Ensure systems for recording revenues, adjustments, discounts and complimentary are recorded and reported in accordance with company standards. • Implement and monitor revenue enhancement activities including but not limited to the introduction of specials, promotions, up-selling and menu re-engineering to achieve and exceed average sales per customer revenue targets and capture rates • Ensure all food handling practices are upheld in accordance with HACCP standards and Qatar Municipality regulations at all times. • Be knowledgeable to operate the existing POS system based on the trained responsibility level as assigned in the department. • Produce reports and analysis of the outlet and present report in the monthly performance meeting. • Lead the outlet efficiently in cost and expenses, constantly delivering the highest quality as well as driving high top line revenue and profit. • Assist in preparation of the outlet’s budget. • Conduct monthly inventory of operating supplies and equipment together with the stewarding department. • Obtain an account for the correct settlement of all sales and be overall responsible for outlet floats when and as required. • Identify errors and correct them as required during set-up, service and breakdown of operations. • Establish a pool of qualified and trained employees • Monitor operating supplies, equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage successfully. • Attend and contribute to all staff meetings, departmental trainings and hotel initiated trainings. • Manage daily or weekly meetings with the kitchen team and fostering team work to constantly develop the restaurant / outlet for more success. • Attend all required trainings as described by the department. Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to employees on preparation, guest profile, service and menu served. • Report incidents that require disciplinary actions immediately to the Head of Department. • Prepare and review outlet’s operations manual updates annually in accordance with the Assistant Head of Department • Constantly improve the product quality by sourcing the best available products. • Support activities and cooperation with the suppliers. • Monitor and constantly improve quality and guest satisfaction of the outlet. • Organise all required outlet specific trainings as described by the department. • Undertake reasonable tasks and secondary duties as appointed by the Head of Department. • Respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the hotel management. • Handle guest enquiries and complaints in the outlet in a courteous and efficient manner and report to Head of Department / Assistant Head of Department ensuring that the follow up is performed with the guest. • Ensure that the opening and closing procedures established for the outlet are followed. •

Your day to day– Handle guest relations’ tasks to ensure maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt cordial attention from arrival through departure. -. Your day to day

• Be fully conversant with all hotel facilities and services. • To process check-in and check-out according to the hotel policies and procedures. • To complete the guest’s registration form and ensure all details are accurately captured. • Courteously and promptly handle all reservations enquiries on phone, emails, etc. • Act on flags and special requests. • Membership Enrolment to offered at any point of contact for non-member Guest. • Ensure all guest complaints are dealt with immediately, then followed up according to the procedures and all complaints registered in the logbook. • Supervise the lobby area to ensure they are tidy at all times, including in house music. Your day to day

• Ensures the highest standards of maintenance, cleanliness and comfort in Team Members Accommodation and provide Team Members assistance and support on daily basis. • Airport Pick up and drop off for the new arrivals and leavers. • Arrangement of the accommodation for new team members arrivals room cleanliness, all items in place etc. with welcome pack items, welcome letter and check in formalities. • Handle and control the team members movements and shifting inside the accommodation. • Ensure the maintenance of the Accommodation: make sure all the facilities are operational and contact the suppliers for any repairing or replacement needed. • Ensure that all aspects of the accommodation meet hygiene and health and safety regulations. • Handle the TM’s transportation with the suppliers according to the daily schedule • Follow up with the purchasing on pending items related to the TM’s accommodation. • Initiate all the purchasing request for all shortage of the consumable items / maintenance items or any items need replacement. • Update all stores in the accommodation and ensure no shortage of needed items. • Prepare and maintain up to date Accommodation inventory lists for all the store items in the accommodation. • Accommodation Inspection / Spot Checks as per the decided schedule for all the team members villas to ensure safety and hygiene and that all the rules and regulations in the rooms are followed. • Ensure all comments related to TM’s accommodation are responded to/acted on within established time frames. • Maintain discipline and safe environment, in Accommodation – keep the peace, and act on any actual or potential violations of policies or law – report incidents in the accommodation to HR Manager.

What we need from you

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Formal qualifications of min. Secondary level
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Competency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Subject knowledge and local experience within a hotel human resources environment. Knowledgeable about basic first aid
