Duties

Incumbent is the initial Information Resource Management customer interface. Primary responsibility for the identification of customer needs and the determination of the appropriate assignment for action of the request or problem. From newcomer intake, password resets, problem handling to final check-out, the Help Desk and Mobile Device Administrator supports all customer related issues. The position reports to the (Reviewer) Senior Computer Systems Specialist. The position has responsibility for a wide variety of administrative activities, required to support the reporting requirements of the Information Systems Center, customer access to resources and general information sharing. The responsibilities include administration of mobile device management systems and other mobile infrastructure systems, Microsoft Exchange & Active Directory administration, and identifying and implementing process improvements. The incumbent executes and maintains processes that enable users to gain access to Outlook on mobile devices. The job entails being a client liaison and support for mobile telecom services. The incumbent will respond to client requests for mobile devices such as iPhones, Androids or regular cell phones.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:  At least Three (3) years of experience as a computer administrator or as an IT helpdesk consultant is required.
Education Requirements:
Two years of college or university studies is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:  Level 4 (Fluent) reading/speaking/writing in English capability is required. ” This may be tested”

The salary and benefits described below applies to the successful candidate, e.g. Locally Employed (LE) Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), hired under Personal Services Agreement. Unless otherwise stated, all compensation is denominated in Qatari Riyals (QAR) and paid in Qatari Riyals.

Compensation and Benefits Package:

Annual Basic Rate: QAR 113,774.00 / Annual Housing Allowance: QAR 66,880.00 / Annual Transportation Allowance: QAR 5,460.00 / End of Year Bonus: QAR 9,481.17 / Mid Year Bonus: QAR 4,740.58 / Education Allowance: is paid for a maximum of two (2) children at the rate of up to QAR 28,000 per year, per each eligible child / Homeward Passage or Monetized Ticket Allowance / Life Insurance Coverage for the employee and Medical and Health Insurance Coverage for the employee and eligible family members / Variable Contribution Plan (VCP): Defined contribution end-of-service benefit for the LE Staff / 28 workdays of Annual Leave and 20 holidays per year (American and Qatar Holidays).

Duties
Basic Function of the Position:

The incumbent operates safely and efficiently an unarmored U.S. Government-owned or leased motor vehicle transport passengers and/or cargo. Works as messenger as directed.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Chauffeur Responsibilities 80%

As one of several motor pool chauffeurs, receives work assignment from the Dispatcher or the Motor Pool Supervisor to transport State and/or other Agency personnel or cargo.

Operates Embassy/Consulate vehicles in the transportation of official visitors in support of U.S. Government”s official activities.

Assumes duty driver responsibility on a rotational basis. Incumbent may be required to make trips that require out-of-town stays.

Maintains vehicle in a clean and serviceable condition, to include cleaning the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Performs basic vehicle inspection in accordance with established schedules and policies.

Prepares trip reports, vehicle use and fuel logs. Estimates fuel consumption for trips.

Safeguards U.S. Government property and uses U.S. Government resources, efficiently, including the fuel-efficient operation vehicles.

Messenger Responsibilities 20%

To include mail, cargo, document pickup and delivery, as assigned.

Handles cash up to $1,000 for vehicle with $300 limit.
