Following completion of training in Auto and Property notice of loss capture, provides a superior customer experience by building an authentic emotional connection with our customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism and productivity. Serve as the initial point of contact for customers who have incurred a loss. Responsible for accurately and efficiently capturing first notice of loss information and responding to customer inquiries. Once proficiency is demonstrated, incumbent is eligible for consideration for advancement to Customer Service Representative, Claim. As part of the hiring process, this position requires the completion of an online pre-employment assessment. Further information regarding the assessment including an accommodation process, if needed, will be provided at such time as your candidacy is deemed appropriate for further consideration.Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serves as first contact for customers, agents, claimants, and other parties, providing needed assurance and crisis management for life’s unpredictable moments.
  • Builds and maintains customer satisfaction and trust by graciously listening to denote customer concerns and effectively applying learned product and systems knowledge.
  • Adapts and modifies communication style to provide a positive, consistent, empathetic, and thorough customer experience.
  • Assesses a variety of customer situations to ensure appropriate and comprehensive documentation of information following the guidelines of multiple workflows under the corresponding line of business.
  • Effectively de-escalates customer issues using empathy and conflict resolution skills.
  • Effectively uses technology to navigate numerous systems and platforms simultaneously to accurately access and input information while interacting with the customer.

  • Promptly notifies Team Leader and/or Unit Manager of any outstanding or unusual issues concerning external or internal parties and systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and six months of customer service experience required.

Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge

  • Customer experience preferred.
  • 2-4 year college preferred.
  • English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
  • High volume customer experience/support role.

Job Description Summary

Under general supervision, the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is a member of an agile circle and agile team and is responsible for working with business and IT stakeholders to elicit, analyze, specify and validate business and solution requirement. The BSA’s efforts support the creation of new features and user stories and ensuring committed in progress work meets the needs of the business and accounts for specified target solution. Works with a diverse stakeholder group across both business and IT domains and at times across multiple Enterprise value streams. Able to successfully transition to unfamiliar business and systems domains with minimal guidance by leveraging their business domain knowledge, their IT domain knowledge and technical skills. This job typically does not lead others. May act as a team lead on small to medium initiatives and coach less experienced team members.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and communicate business and system requirements. Documenting necessary work within agile features and user stories.
  • Directly contributes to the breakdown of features providing a healthy backlog of work.
  • Leverages technical skills to analyze database structures and existing solutions to ensure defined work accounts for business needs and solution design considerations
  • Assists the agile team to estimate and prioritize back log of work
  • Participates in daily team ceremonies and Circle/Program ceremonies as scheduled
  • Has a continuous improvement mindset
  • Has responsibility to accept user stories as a proxy to the Team Lead/PO
  • Participates in cross Circle/Program planning events and meetings
  • Responsibilities support new software development and the maintenance of current solutions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three years of experience in Business Systems or equivalent preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, MIS, or other related field preferred.

Job Specific Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Uses, leverages and maintains proficiency with corporate and job specific technology as it evolves (e.g., hardware, software, business unit applications, systems tools; and programming or product specific skills such as SQL, Rally, Splunk, etc.).
  • Technical/System Aptitude. Able to understands system architectures, distributed solution designs and event-based solution models
  • Identifies current or future problems or opportunities, analyzes, synthesize and compares data and information to understand issues, identifies cause/effect relationships and explores alternative solutions to support sound decision making
  • Leverages technical skills to query databases; system logs, Splunk repositories, and no-sql stores for information to solve problems and to refine work items
  • (nice to have) Has BSA experience delivering Sales cloud solutions. Understands the Sales cloud product object model
