Client Services Specialist

As a Client Services Specialist, you’ll be the main point of contact for healthcare providers who are looking for answers regarding our CareCredit patient financing program. CareCredit provides financial solutions for elective surgeries, dental, vision and veterinary needs. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing credit applications and credit bureau information, communicating credit decisions, and providing support for customer account issues. You will have the opportunity to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with our healthcare providers. Potential for training and cross-skilling to assist the business as needed with additional critical experiences.


Remote Work

Currently this position is work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic and will require high speed internet. We will provide you with the computer, technology and equipment needed to successfully perform your job. We’re continually monitoring the pandemic and will provide future communication on returning to the office when it’s safe

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT – for more information, click here.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in any industry or equivalent military experience
  • Must live within 2 1/2 hour commute of the affiliated Synchrony location you are applying to
  • Confidence using a computer
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process

What you’ll do as a Customer Service Representative?

You’ll handle inbound calls from our many cardholders, keeping exceptional customer service as your constant goal. You’ll maintain up-to-date computerized customer information, resolve inquires, authorize sales, and most importantly, you’ll build relationships with clients, customers and colleagues.

What you’ll need to succeed

You’ll have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; thrive in a team environment; and effectively communicate. You’ll need proficient computer skills, including the ability to manage information in multiple windows, proficiently type while talking and be comfortable utilizing Microsoft Outlook.
