White City House is located within the old BBC headquarters in West London. The House has three floors of club space, rooftop pool, events space, two cinemas, a screening room, 24,000 sq ft gym and 45 bedrooms within the building’s original Grade-II listed central ring.
All our venues are individual and diverse, but they are all united by the same Soho House ethos. The Houses are regarded as a home away from home for our members, creating a warm, personalised atmosphere. The hotels within Soho House are of unparalleled design, with outstanding service being the central priority. Our restaurants are consistently busy, offering friendly but professional service.
The Club Reception Supervisor is responsible for managing the atmosphere of the Club & reception desk and liaising with all departments to offer a unique experience to every guest. This position is great for someone with previous management experience in an upscale, high volume environment. The Reception Manager must have high energy, a friendly demeanour, an eye for accurate detail, and unmatched enthusiasm for hospitality.
- Planning and administering rotas, daily time attendance as well as ensuring the correct financial closure during the shifts
- Conducting regular training, and providing constant on-the-job mentoring for new employees, apprentices and interns
- Providing active support, guidance and instructions to the entire reception team consisting of roughly 15 employees.
- Working closely together with the Club Manager and the General Manager.
