With an ever-growing pipeline of projects, the successful candidate will have the ability to partake in projects through the full project lifetime from early-stage conceptual design to project execution, and projects located in diverse locations including Europe, The United States of America, Asia Pacific and Brazil.
What you’ll be doing :
Working as part of a global business with activities in many countries across Europe and the rest of the world you’ll focus on the delivery of large-scale offshore wind projects. With responsibility for implementing robust and cost-effective engineering strategies and plans.  Including tendering, negotiating and managing £multi-million offshore supply, installation and maintenance contracts, planning and implementing delivery sites and logistics.  Whilst complying with company and business engineering standards and technical acceptance criteria, and ensuring quality, best practices and excellent H&SE performance are applied.

The position may require travel to various locations in the UK and overseas.

What you’ll bring :

You’ll be Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Be educated to degree level in civil/structural engineering with substantial experience in a relevant field (offshore wind or oil and gas preferable).  With a knowledge and experience dealing with HS&E legislation and industry codes and standards associated with construction, marine and offshore projects.

Significant experience of analysis and design of large scale civil engineering structures using appropriate packages such as ANSYS.  With proven experience in delivery of large packages/projects, including contract/ programme management and cost and risk control.

A pro-active and diligent approach with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Experience in leading teams involved in multidisciplinary work packages relationship management skills and confidence working with Senior Management.
