We are looking for an in-house Graphic Designer, to create engaging and on-brand graphics for print as well as all digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for branding and social media/digital marketing design. The designer will work in a fast-paced environment, in a company with tremendous growth potential, and where there’s not far from thought to action. Key Responsibilities

  • Help conceptualize and produce campaign materials harnessing original graphics, websites and social media content, and other marketing materials in close cooperation with our Marketing Coordinator
  • Work closely with our Marketing Coordinator to ensure that the creative work will achieve the company’s strategic and communicative objectives
  • Research and keep up to date with current trends, competitors, and industry relevant advertising efforts to compare and improve our advertising assets and templates across all platforms
  • Prepare weekly advertising presentations with your visual research findings and analyze the trends to clarify what works and what doesn’t
  • Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions for upcoming projects
  • Obtain team approval by presenting final layouts and designs, encouraging members to provide feedback, and responding to internal commentary and requests
  • Create designs that fit the company standards and brand guidelines
  • Design materials for print, made for marketing purposes
  • Deliver high-quality designs and assets in a timely manner
  • Have an outstanding eye for detail ‍

Requirements

  • Graphic Design degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • A portfolio of previous work that demonstrates a deep understanding of modern design fundamentals and principles
  • A good understanding of brand design, layout, and typography fundamentals
  • Intimate understanding of social media advertising asset best practices/guidelines
  • Ability to work well independently but also work alongside team members
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Flexible with good initiative and able to deal with ambiguity (asking the right questions, anticipating needs, being resourceful, and preparing for several outcomes)
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure
  • Demonstrate maturity, professionalism & positive attitude
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
  • Animation & video editing skills are a plus

Restaurant Training Manager

Are you an experienced training delivery practitioner with great interpersonal skills and exposure to the restaurant and hospitality sector?

Our client’s company was founded back in 2001 as a foundation for the existing passion and obsession for perfumery in three perfume brands and currently have over 100 shops in the GCC.

From perfumes they have expanded their unique Emirati concepts into Food & Beverage with two different restaurant brands for which they are now hiring an exceptional Training Manager – an extremely passionate person who knows exactly how to pick, motivate, and retain the right people. Someone who tirelessly continuously train them to keep them in the top league of delivering an outstanding service, which the customers will always remember.

As the Training Manager you will have responsibility for both the development and delivery of training courses for staff and volunteers as well as taking care of the general wellbeing of staff and customers. This role would suit an experienced training delivery practitioner with great interpersonal skills and a passionate commitment and loyalty to the team and organization.

  • Review and identify current training needs, plan and implement a training program for the organization and other external learners
  • Identify current and future training needs for the organization
  • Plan and deliver high-quality inductions for new starters
  • Undertake regular organization-wide training needs analysis for the staff and build a training plan based on needs
  • Create, maintain, and update a training matrix/log and create a database of potential learners and attendees for the courses
  • Report back to senior management on course feedback and key learnings
  • Design, organize, and promote a range of high-quality courses for staff i.e. induction/core training, on-the-job training, soft skills training, leadership training, cross training etc.
  • Full business responsibility for the development of the training arm of the restaurants
  • Collect relevant data relating to course feedback and key learning
  • Focus on delivering positive customer outcomes and managing risk associated with training
  • Oversee compliant and robust processes through actively managing internal processes and procedures.

Qualifications 

  • Experience as a Training Manager in the hospitality industry
  • Experience in developing and implementing training programs
  • Knowledge of various training methods including coaching, creation and hosting of workshops, classroom training, mentoring
  • Able to track the performance of the training programs, write reports and suggest strategies for improvement to make sure the restaurants constantly delivers above the expectations
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Has outstanding IT and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Comes across as an empathetic, engaging, powerful, passionate person with high interpersonal skills
