DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain a pipeline of medical device/consumables leads and opportunities
  • Responsible for heading up expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients
  • Define and negotiate the terms of the contracts; getting the support and approval from all stakeholders either internally and from the clients.
  • Develop and maintain superior relationships with key decision makers and influencers at customer accounts
  • Generate and develop incremental sales leads and opportunities in both existing and new accounts
  • Exhibit a high level of proficiency and expertise in demonstrating and/or presenting company products, processes, and services.
  • Forecast annually, quarterly orders, sales and profits for customer accounts, meet or exceed forecasted numbers.
  • Implement the strategy for meeting sales performance targets and delivering them
  • Contribute to building innovative products within this industry through understanding of trends and customer needs.
  • Supervise tender submission process from technical, pricing, completeness, consistency and appliance
  • Assess and address technical and commercial risks relating to the tender being work on
  • Manage budgets, track cost

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the medical device industry with a minimum of 5 years’ sales experience (in Qatar).
  • With an understanding of medical device regulatory authorities
  • Ability to negotiate deals and build fitting solutions
  • Ability to influence colleagues at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to drive new sales, achieve quotas and increase year over year revenue
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
  • Natural hunter

  • Must have QATAR ID
  • Must have Qatar Driver’s License
  • Must have NOC or Work Permit (if under family visa)
  • University Degree in Dermatology, Surgical, Biomedical, Nursing, or related field
  • Significant work experience in sales of medical Equipment, consumables & Derma products & Devices
  • Fluent in English & Arabic

OVERVIEW

A Product Specialist will seek out customers and sell our products and services as well as deliver exceptional customer service, answering all customer questions and concerns regarding our products and helping them make the most informed buying choice possible. You will demonstrate your technical knowledge of our various product options in a friendly and helpful manner, treat potential customers with the utmost respect, and follow up with them, making every effort to close the sale in a professional manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Continuously expand knowledge of our product line
  • Always deliver exceptional customer service
  • Answer all questions and address all concerns that the customer may have
  • Demonstrate product functionality accurately and completely
  • Accurately communicate all technical specifications
  • Work cooperatively with the rest of the team
  • Seek self-improvement through mentoring and coaching from senior team members
  • Remain in compliance with company guidelines at all times
  • Log all customer contacts including contact information for follow-up
  • Follow up with potential and existing customers to promote new or current products.
  • Offer related products and services to new customers
  • Assist in new product introduction and release activities
  • Work with sales team to identify new customers and to retain existing customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, business flow, sales process and market dynamic.
  • Maintain complete documentations for all product related activities.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports on day to day activities, sales objectives, target progress, etc.
  • Monitors the tender submission process for formatting, completeness, consistency, and compliance
  • Prepare and/or review Tender Documentation Packages comprising of Instructions to Bidders, Contract Form, General Terms Conditions, Bid Forms, etc.
  • Evaluation and contract negotiation
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly agenda and reports on sales activities.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly and yearly sales pipeline to management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree in Dermatology, Nursing, or related field
  • Significant work experience in sales of medical & Beauty products
  • Able to memorize product specifications and demonstrate use accurately
  • Able to work cooperatively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, positive attitude, strong work ethic, self-motivated, reliable and punctual.
