About this position:
The Medical Assistant – Phlebotomy provides support to patients and co-workers by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks in different areas of the health center.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) hourly position at our Kahului Health Center. Candidate Must be able to work Monday through Friday schedule between the hours of 8:00am- 6:00pm. Flexibility and willingness to work as a larger regional team is a plus.

MA-P position pay ranges from $17.00-$23.95 depending on experiences. The ideal candidate can be trained into to a Medical Assistant Certified role where the hourly wage increases to $18.56- $26.91

This position includes a $1500 sign-on bonus.

What you’ll be doing:
Performing back-office responsibilities as required by the health center; rooms patients; stock rooms; phlebotomy, labs, patient educations; assists NPs, RNs, and MDs.

Provides non-judgmental, client-centered care, and provides accurate information by answering questions and providing appropriate resources.

Assists with optimizing patient flow to keep appointments on schedule.

Establishes and prepares documents for patient records and patient services.

Provides patients and co-workers with excellent customer service in all interactions and tasks.
