Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Follow good manufacturing practices
  • Assist in driving continuous improvement in the production facility
  • Measure and report equipment settings
  • Complete and apply all aspects of Operator Asset Care (O.A.C.) in the work area
  • Cleaning and inspection line checklists
  • Meet or exceed required sanitation standard for work area: including scraping scales, sweeping floor, emptying damaged bags of product to waste barrels
  • Operate equipment in a manner to produce high quality product and report any equipment problems to supervision
  • Ensure timely, accurate records are maintained
  • Check and record information and input into computer
  • Clean-up/shut down duties: including deep cleaning on specific lines, sweeping, air hosing, chemical use, high pressure hosing
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements:

  • Push/pull such as rolls of poly, high pressure hoses, garbage containers, vacuum, pallets and cases
  • Lifting weight approximately 25 – 44 lbs., up to heights of 6 ft.
  • Stair/ladder climbing as required
  • Bending, crouching
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Continuous walking

We Are Hiring for 3rd Shift!!!

We’re Hiring Back-up Machine Operators to join our production team and help us feed America. Apply now for an interview to join our team!

The backup operator rate of pay is $17.19 per hour plus $.75 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift!

The backup operator position is responsible for filling in when the regular machine operator is absent and/or as requested by management. These duties include setup of equipment, start-up and shutdowns, troubleshooting equipment, completing quality checks, and performing sanitation on assigned equipment and work areas. When not filling in for the operator position, the backup operator will be performing the functions of the General Assembler which include inspecting products to quality standards, packaging finished goods in designated cartons or cases, communicate discrepancies in product standards, assist in cleaning work area and following proper safety and GMP guidelines.

  • Sets up the line safely and ensuring that the proper processing equipment is in place
  • Communicates with support personnel and maintenance any equipment malfunctions or design deficiencies
  • Performs pre-operation checks of equipment for safe and proper set-up, ensuring all guards are functional and in place
  • Maintain supply of raw materials to the line throughout the shift
  • Accurately records material usage in production
  • Maintains and completes all daily line reports
  • Maintains line appearance in accordance with established GMP’s and policies
