RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out more complex and/or atypical Internal Audit reviews of risks and controls
- Undertaking inspections in accordance with the approved Corporate and Development Audit programmes, and special investigations
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s development, project management, procurement & contracts management, financial, accounting, administrative & business policies, systems, and procedures
- Participating in the preparation of Corporate and Development Audit programmes, and making suggestions and recommendations for routine and special audit inspections and reviews
- Planning work programmes for specific Corporate and Development Audits; determining scope, identifying risks and controls, and drawing up a time budget for the assignments
- Providing guidance and technical expertise to Audit Staff as required
- Identifying, analysing, and investigating any weaknesses in the company’s systems during audits
- Preparing draft audit reports covering observations, recommendations, and detailed working papers for discussion with the Manager of Internal Audits
- Conducting bi-annual follow-up implementations of audit report recommendations and directives, ensuring that necessary remedial or corrective action has been taken
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Quantity Surveying/Accounting/Finance
- Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, Professional Engineer, or membership to a Quantity Surveying body would be preferable
- At least 10 years’ experience in auditing, finance, engineering, or quantity surveying, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Internal Auditor
- Significant experience of conducting fieldwork and delivering audits autonomously is an essential requirement for this position
- Experience of working in GCC countries
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English

Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are seeking a Security & HSE Manager to join their team in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing and managing security and HSE contractors
- Developing a working relationship with personnel and a comprehensive working knowledge of the security system
- Overseeing and managing the HSE team and activities for a large portfolio of properties
- Following up all emergencies/crises related to managed assets, providing a timely response to incidents as they arise
- Developing and implementing emergency procedures and processes
- Managing the daily operations and reporting, as well as filtering/scrutinising all gate passes applications
- Sharing any complaints/remarks from tenants to the sales & marketing team and relevant customer relations
- Managing third-party contractors and ensuring HSE standards are being met
- Ensuring properties in your portfolio meet the HSE requirements and that facilities comply with legislation
- Preparing an effective Quality Assurance audit program, ensuring that activities and contracted functions are in full compliance with the company and regulatory authority requirements
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field
- 10 years’ experience in managing contractors/developers and overseeing a wide portfolio of managed assets from a Security/HSE point of view
- Good knowledge of Qatari culture, with a strong background of working in the country
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and Arabic
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

Linum Consult’s client is a major company operating out of the Middle East. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Director of Customer Service to join their team in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing, directing, and controlling the strategy for sales, customer services and smart services of the company
- Directing and coordinating efficient functioning of the Sales & Customer Service Department within the Service Delivery Division in accordance with the company’s strategic objectives and program schedules
- Establishing appropriate standards of service for customers (timeliness, frequency, ease of buying tickets, cleanliness, temperature, etc.)
- Monitoring and auditing compliance with such standards
- Providing strategic direction and planning in the development and implementation of policies, plans, processes and procedures, standards and work instructions for customer services, smart services, integrated ticketing across the country and Automated Fare Collection
- Developing, designing, and implementing business models related to customer services, smart services, and increase revenue sources
- Monitoring the Sales and Customer Service department dashboard and KPIs
- Participating in the development of the end-state operators’ contracts in coordination with the procurement team and the Service Delivery Division departments
- Creating and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement by creating a training program for new employees and facilitating on-going training
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Engineering with a post-graduate qualification
- At least 14 years’ experience in Sales and Customer Services within the rail/transport industry
- Demonstrable track record of success in developing and implementing a strategic Customer Services plan, resulting in significant results
- Experience in Digital (Smart) services project management would be preferred
- Fluent in spoken and written English
