Enterprise B2B KAM- ‘Key Account Manager’ focus will be to drive significant new business opportunities supporting ALL brands under the 1800Flowers.com Enterprise (1800Flowers.com, Harry & David, Cheryl’s, The Popcorn Factory, and all other brands featured on the 1800Flowers.com site).

Work with new and existing clients to develop incremental opportunities / sales – find new  opportunities by brand – drive a high percentage of new customers.

Strong emphasis on development of new clients and grow underperforming assigned clients which will support incremental revenue and cross brand customer engagement across the Enterprise from both consumer and corporate buying segments.

Key Account Manager targeting and prospect efforts would be aligned with Enterprise strategy to acquire new business and embrace our mission and vision to support consumer needs to express, connect and celebrate – experiential based model, not discount focused.

Targeted prospects would center around employee, channel, agent and client gifting, including sympathy, surprise and delight, get well, new baby, work from home and others in the Enterprise B2B space.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, acquire and develop key long-term strategic partnerships to support revenue and acquisition goals.
  • Support similar cadence with respect to shorter term promotional periods like Dec Holiday, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day as well as opportunistic brand-specific secondary and tertiary holiday marketing programs (like Cheryl’s and The Popcorn Factory for Halloween)
  • Serve as an Enterprise resource for ALL brands in attaining new opportunities, communicating terms and marketing commitments, negotiating (internally with brands and externally with partner prospects) and ultimately expanding reach to drive new customers and generate cross-brand life-time value
  • Ability to working collaboratively with other members with respect to new opportunities pertaining to existing clients and supporting launch of new accounts
  • Study industry news for up-and-coming business trends that could develop into strategic gifting partnerships
  • Develop business plans incorporating customer requirements, define competitive arenas and establish objectives, strategies and actions required to execute – incorporate Covid strategy / impact
  • Create target lists, company profiles and strategic fit documents
  • Coordinate internally with marketing, creative, legal, merchandising and web/mobile teams to execute new programs
  • Utilize Salesforce.com and additional tools to prepare updated forecasts, revenue analysis, estimate value of opportunities

Qualifications:

  •  BA/BS Degree or higher
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships
  • Goal driven and motivated to achieve sales targets
  • Ability to understand Enterprise strategy and align sales efforts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to collaborate within the Partnership team and also across all internal supporting divisions (Analytics, Web / Mobile, Merch, Creative ,etc.)

This position monitors and manages the put away, picking, shipping and replenishment work queues. Accountable for extensive communication with the Supervisors, Coordinators or Planners, as workloads and priorities change for labor to be effectively allocated and maintain customer satisfaction. Assists in the training of seasonal Work Queue Monitor and at times may be requested to assist other areas.

  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of company personnel.
  • Must be a reliable self-starter, willing and able to learn new responsibilities, the ability to successfully work as part of a team is essential.
  • Previous production experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must have computer skills and be able to learn new technical tasks.
  • Must be flexible with regard to schedule and job assignments. Hours and days may change based on production needs and overtime may be required in the fall months.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Other physical activities include bending, lifting, twisting, walking, repetitive wrist movement, standing, sitting, and working in dust and varying temperatures.
