Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Public Relations Director to design and implement marketing strategies that cultivate our relationships with media, engage our target audience and boost our brand awareness.

The primary role of the Director of Public Relations is to create, plan and execute innovative PR and marketing communications programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the hotel, services, and personnel. This will develop and generate awareness of the hotel through all media outlets, and generate local awareness through participation in significant community & social events. The Director of Public Relations supports leisure and goals through targeted communications plans and marketing campaigns and assists in the development of all marketing and advertising initiatives.

Social Media:

  • Create and implement a monthly content calendar one month in advance of deployment for hotels, SPA, Restaurants & Lounges.
  • Maximize opportunities for publicity in all forms of social media, including independently monitoring Social Media channels where our business may have a presence and respond/interact accordingly; full autonomy to monitor primary channels which include but are not limited to: Twitter/Facebook/Instagram, Google my Business, TripAdvisor
  • Work closely with each department at the Hotel to help provide clear social direction, ensuring all conceptual and creative ideas meet objectives, key brand strategies and timelines.
  • Prepare social media statistics for use in overall monthly, quarterly, and yearly Public Relations report (Marketing Month End Scorecard);
  • Work with hotel partners to keep up with social media trends;

Digital Communications

  • Create innovative digital publicity campaigns that increase awareness and positive perception of the hotel, spa, restaurants and are aligned with the hotel and communications objectives;
  • Following monthly reports on all paid campaigns; analyze and communicate monthly statistics on all digital assets, including social media and landing pages;
  • Update and maintain current content on Hotel’s mobile app;
  • Maintain hotel’s assets of photograph and video, uploading new content as needed and removing outdated content from the Image Library and Press Room when needed;
  • Keep up-to-date with digital trends and developments.
  • Maintain and update Hotel website for optimum performance, search engine relevance, engagement, and traffic;
  • Capture on-brand digital content (videos and photos) based on a storytelling way to support digital communications and social media objectives;
  • Rally hotel employees to support with digital assets;
  • Create and implement targeted marketing tools for Hotel website, such as e-newsletters and landing pages to support marketing and brand communications initiatives for local and international clients; Helping the hotel SPA and R&B effort to collect client’s data GDPR compliant through the Local Manager Local List by Four Seasons;
  • Develop, implement and maintain digital marketing campaign calendar on a rolling 12-month basis.

Public Relations/ Marketing

  • Assist  DOM to execute innovative PR and publicity programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the hotel, services, and personnel;
  • Speak and write knowledgeably on the hotel;
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with key social media influencers;
  • Draft copy and content for property-specific marketing collateral including free ads, occasionally creating pieces on-site using Adobe Photoshop and In-Design;
  • Update press list of relevant media contacts;
  • Compile and organize monthly, quarterly, and yearly press report
  • Attend all meetings (internal and external) as needed, including a mandatory Public Relations meeting with the DOM and GM.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Possess a genuine teamwork attitude with an interest to communicate extensively with the food and beverage team and other operational departments.
  • College education in Marketing Communications or Digital Marketing is preferred
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English, the primary language used in the workplace. Arabic speaker is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a high-end luxury establishment
  • Ability to create clear measurable objectives
  • Minimum experience, at least 5-7 years in a managerial position or 2 years in a similar position with a Luxury Hotel company
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Keep close communication with FS regional and home offices.
  • Respond according to the crisis management plan to any resort emergency or safety situation.
  • Manages the hotel’s social media and digital efforts

  • Ensure that all hotel promotions, advertising, direct mail pieces, and collateral are in keeping with Four Seasons image and reflect the highest level of professionalism in content and presentation.
  • Assist with the development of all direct sales presentation material for both travel industry and group sales.
  • Proofread all marketing material, including collateral, direct mail, advertising, printed promotional pieces, guest correspondence, etc.

Food and Beverage Admin Assistant is responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and support for not only F&B Management but also general F&B operations. You are responsible for working in all areas of Food and Beverage as needed to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.

The Reservations Manager is an integral part of our continued success.  The “Core team” is responsible for driving rates and revenue throughout the hotel by effectively and efficiently managing the guest experience. This position is fast-paced, varied and requires fostering connections with many areas of the hotel to positively affect all departments. As Reservations Manager, you will manage a highly effective Core team. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Work with Sales & Marketing Teams to execute the hotel’s strategic sales plan in regards to occupancy, rates and yield.
  • Lead & Manage the Core Department  to meet and exceed budgeted targets
  • Monitor productivity within the team to gain a clear understanding of the business and communicate needs and trends with the leadership team
  • Actively seek various opportunities to enable the team who is selling on the phone to increase revenue spent by guests
  • Working with the Director of Revenue, understand the competitive marketplace through data analysis trends, and build a strategic approach to manage those trends

  • Communicate effectively with team members a various levels within the organization in both verbal and written form
  • Mentor and develop skills within the Core Team to enable them to grow within their role and within the company

Essential Functions:

  • Verifies compliance with Food Safety, Hygiene & LWC Corporate Standards requirements of Four Seasons as well as the KSA local protocols/ legislations throughout the operations.
  • Be part of developing and building up the internal documentation P&Ps, SOPs and checklist built up in regard to Food Safety, Hygiene & LWC corporate and local standards with the guidance of Director of Facilities and Operational Safety.
  • Maintains and be accountable for regularly reviews the local protocol/ legislation and corporate standards and if required revises
  • Monitors the implementation on daily and weekly basis with using the verification tools (i.e., ATP machine, quad test strip…), and advises/leads to all related departments on hygiene and food safety good practices and reports the findings of regular internal inspections via providing the corrective action plan as necessary, follows & ensures that the required actions are taken by responsible team members for their respective areas.
  • Follows up and be accountable for all due diligence documents with all related department heads and guide them on when and how to fill the due diligence records.
  • Identifies key areas of Food Safety & Hygiene risks in all concerned departments/divisions, if required takes on pre-emptive remedial action
  • Be responsible for any corporate and local authorities internal/external audits.
  • Conducts & organizes Food Safety& Hygiene internal & external trainings for all concerned colleagues on proper basis with Director of Facilities and Operational Safety. Also provide the Food Safety and Hygiene P&Ps and SOPs OJT for the specific departments where required.
  • Leads and conducts regular supplier audits according to local & corporate standards with F&B, Kitchen and Purchasing Departments.
  • Maintains and conducts the monthly laboratory food, water & ice sampling, weekly laboratory swabbing and review results and where required report to all concerned departments for further corrective actions.
  • Monitor pest control performance and issues, reports the issues to all concerned departments.
  • Ensures the local & corporate standards are achieved in terms of waste management by the responsible team members
  • Provide knowledge on cleaning methods and chemicals liaising with 3rd party partners where required
  • Handles the guest complaints in regard to AFBI with Director of F&B and Director of Facilities
  • Oversee and present the repetitive issues and action required point during regular HACCP & LWC meetings on monthly basis with H&S Committee
  • Support Security and P&C Departments for Covid-19 contact tracing of any suspected
  • Perform audit, inspection, and verification activities to ensure food businesses are complying with all facets of the Food & Safety regulations
  • Provide accurate and appropriate information, advice, recommendations
  • Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of food safety principles, food technology, food microbiology, food legislation, food industry issues and trends

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum two year of experience in working with a luxury/or 5* hotel and/or resort
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or any related field
  • Thorough knowledge of HACCP and quality assurance principles
  • Good knowledge of food production and processing, food safety principles, food technology, food microbiology
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, Arabic speaker is an advantage
  • Ability to work well with a diverse team

Responsibilities:

  • Handle Incoming Calls, handle In-house calls.
  • Taking written messages for hotel guests; transferring guest to voice mail to leave a message as well as retrieving guests’ voice messages.
  • Be able to lodge guests requests for Wake up call, setting the console and giving the wake-up call, dealing with unanswered wake-up calls; handling of the incoming faxes
  • Be able to handle guest requests in terms of DND, privately registered guest, Function room telephones.
  • Be well versed in General hotel information, Four Seasons information and knowledgeable about Speed Dial extension.
  • Be able to handle security issues such as Fire alarm procedures, calling the house doctor, Bomb threats and Guest/ Staff confidentiality.
  • Assist with guest complaints
  • Govern overnight tasks such as daily reports for all departments and line check, pulse control report; communicating guest requests to the overnight runner.
  • Be able to respond to crisis situation; running the operation manually when Opera crashes and applying the contingency plan in case of the switchboard being crashed.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Luxury hotel experience in a similar level
  • College education or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Excellent command of the English language
