If you are a Senior Investigator Analyst professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our St. Louis, Missouri location, you will be responsible for performing and/or managing financial business integrity investigations in North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Africa.


  • Report to the Manager, the Senior Investigation Analyst is responsible for performing and/or managing financial and business integrity investigation for North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Africa in leading or supporting role including case preparation, interviews and reporting.
  • Be responsible for coordinating with IT security or external resources to perform needed forensics analysis and review for investigations.
  • Assist the Manager for overall project management of the investigation case load and reporting metrics.
  • Supports the Internal Audit Department in performing anti-corruption audits as necessary
  • Provide an immediate opportunity to obtain extensive knowledge of Emerson’s businesses and interact with business management throughout the investigation process.
  • Have high exposure/interaction with top Emerson management necessitates excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Travel is approximately 10-15%, including international travel as appropriate and necessary.
  • Emerson uses their Internal Audit Department to develop future Emerson leaders. Senior Investigation Analysts spend 3-4 years in the department, and then rotate out into a position with Emerson Corporate or one of our two business platforms.

You readily learn and adopt new technologies. You ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations. You convert ideas into actions and produce results with new initiatives. You include others in executing on decisions creating a buy in mentality. You solicit both input and discussion. You take time to ask questions and define the problem and make learning a priority and a goal. You ground yourself in data and focus on key metrics. You are effective and understand the customers historically, today, and tomorrow to gather fresh insights.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or an MBA
  • 3+ years of financial audit and/or forensic audit experience required.
  • Big 4 or previous internal audit experience preferred.
  • Foreign language skills a plus.
  • CPA or CFA strongly preferred.
