Marketing Lead

Job Purpose – Mission:

We are looking for a prolific and talented Marketing Lead with a broad range of experience and skills across the B2B marketing spectrum.

The Marketing Lead will be responsible for designing, managing and implementing the company’s marketing, communications and brand strategy.  The successful candidate will be a generalist with broad and demonstrable experience growing businesses in the B2B space.

The Marketing Lead will be responsible for reinforcing and growing Ecocoast’s position as a recognised and trusted global leader in the marine industry, building on its existing brand awareness, growing its reach and driving demand through qualifying and nurturing leads.

The successful candidate will drive all company marketing and communications activity, including but not limited to, online and social media, inbound and outbound marketing, content, CRM and branding.

Key Responsibilities for the role include:

  1. Design, manage and implement the company’s marketing and communications strategy (digital and offline).
  2. Manage the brand architecture, visual identity, and brand strategy for Ecocoast.
  3. Strengthen existing, and launch new, products and brands.
  4. Manage agency and freelance partners who help deliver the company’s marketing and communications plans.
  5. Ensure consistent presentation of new and varied content and customer outreach plans to increase brand awareness and engagement
  6. Generate marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and identify new business opportunities through digital marketing.
  7. Manage the company’s marketing collateral, prequalification, and other brand materials.
  8. Carry out market research, analysis & reporting
  9. Working with the sales team, lead and manage the company’s client relationship program, including all associated client marketing and communications related activities.

Deliverables:

  1. Reinforce and grow Ecocoast’s position as a recognized and trusted global leader in the marine industry.
  2. Increase the company’s brand awareness among its existing and new target market.
  3. Increase the company’s client retention and NPS rate through a market-leading client relationship program.
  4. Grow Ecocoast’s reach, driving demand through qualifying and nurturing leads.
  5. Grow marketing qualified leads and increase conversions through marketing activity.
  6. Implementation of the company’s marketing and communications strategy.
  7. Ensure all sales and business development activities are supported with on-brand, relevant and up-to- date content and market insights.
  8. Ensure all company employees are aligned to, and support, the company’s brand messaging, visual identity and values.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role in the marine, manufacturing or industrial products industry.
  • Demonstrable experience growing businesses in B2B industry through developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent working experience in marketing, communications, design or business.
  • Broad experience across the marketing spectrum, including digital marketing, SEO, web design, content creation, branding, inbound and outbound marketing, client relationship management, sales marketing.
  • Past experience building audiences online or offline in B2B businesses.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exceptional written communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and planning skills.
  • Methodical, reliable and focused.

Head of Expansion

Job Purpose – Mission

A leadership role to drive the growth of the Ecocoast and Bolina brands globally through developing and executing strategic plans to new growth territories and to support and sustain the growth following the execution.

Responsibilities

  • Set and self-drive an international expansion roadmap and corresponding revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement the company’s global business strategy and organizational structure to launch and sustain growth in the current and new territories globally.
  • Direct and manage the global expansion project timeline according to the stablished plan and budget.
  • Fulfil the international sales targets, ensuring operational consistency and best practices in driving revenue, client satisfaction and operating margin growth.
  • Explore on all aspects of building, executing and sustaining into new territories by supplying and delivering the company’s products. Including but not limited to implementation of channel strategy, strategic partnerships and execution, with some of the biggest marine contractors, consultants and distributors on each territory, qualify to add these big companies to our key customers list.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to increase market penetration and deliver profitable growth; develop and maintain global partners.
  • Drive teamwork and communication and be a point of escalation to support partners globally with support management.
  • Serves an International voice-of-sale and voice-of-customer for setting company strategy and direction in collaboration with functional leaders.
  • Analyse and report on key drivers impacting top to bottom line performance in each territory covered; present regular updates to the Sales Director.
  • Focus not only on your own results but always act in the interest of the company.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience in driving and international expansion for an established brand.
  • Experience successfully gaining new clients and growing sales in new territory without and existing client base or known brand.
  • Experience in handling and maintaining multichannel business models including but not limited to agents, partners, re-sellers, others.
  • Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Technical/sales Knowledge in coastal and marine industry, marine barriers, aids to navigation, geocontainers and other marine-related engineered products.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge in contract’s terms and conditions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software, CRM and RP.
