Grand Researcher

  1. Participate in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of the department’s strategic, operational and executive plan, and the estimated budget preparation procedures.
  2. Participate in the review and implementation of all procedures, methodologies and work mechanisms related to the work of the organizational unit, and propose amendment of the necessary ones when needed.
  3. Preparing in-depth scientific and legal research and specialized studies in contemporary developments and issues, rooting and devising appropriate provisions for them, which serves decision-making and the quality of legal fatwas.
  4. Participation in the investigation of Islamic, national and local manuscripts, by bringing out the manuscript text in conformity with the truth of its origin, lineage and text, with clarification of the ambiguous in it, revealing its ambiguity and solving its problems, in a way that contributes to the revival of the scientific heritage.
  5. Preparing scientific studies of the observed societal variables at the level of the emirate and approved in the department’s community monitoring reports and proposing solutions to address them.
  6. Monitoring suspicions about Islam, and issues related to questioning the origins and branches of religion, and submitting the necessary reports.
  7. Participate in scientific support for researchers, by studying and evaluating research at the level of scientific authorship or the realization of manuscripts and providing research consultations to them in the various stages of research.
  8. Providing consultations and academic academic guidance internally and externally, and following up on the activation of specialized standards and guidelines for legitimate scientific research.
  9. Participation in the arbitration of specialized legal research and studies, prepared inside the department and received from outside, including the research of refereed scientific journals, and writing scientific reports about them and the necessary recommendations.
  10. Participation: Representing the department in specialized scientific conferences and symposia inside and outside the country, and delivering speeches and research papers on official religious occasions.
  11. Participate in handling the suggestions, complaints and notes received for the department and work on closings in coordination with the department’s staff.
  12. Follow up on the decisions and circulars issued related to his work, and ensure their implementation and implementation of what he came up with in accordance with the established procedure.
  13. Liaising and communicating with organizational units and entities inside or outside the department according to the directives of the direct official or the head of the organizational unit.
  14. Comply with the department’s applicable security policies and procedures.
  15. Expressing commitment to attend security awareness workshops.
  16. Report security incidents if they are encountered.

Qualifications

  • PhD in the field of specialization + without experience
  • Master’s degree + 4 years experience in the field of specialization

Role Purpose:

Operate drone / UAV detection and countermeasure systems, and to review, interpret, and extracts data and other information in order to verify and update threats of Drones / UAV systems.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for operating drone / UAV detection and countermeasure systems.
  2. Follow up on threats from Drones / UAV systems that are posed in real time operation.

Carry out and follow up various administrative and office duties

Provide, in coordination with the concerned Organisational Units,  administrative and logistic support to all Organisational Units across the SLC to enable them to implement the approved initiatives, programmes, and plans

Coordinate and organise events, including initiatives, conferences, symposia, ceremonies

Actively facilitate the SLC participation by the SLC at local, regional, and international events, including exhibitions and conferences, particularly those promoting the SLC corporate identity

Ensure and facilitate positive engagement and participation by all SLC staff in the relevant events, in coordination with the concerned entities

Implement the SLC Corporate Identity standards as stated in the General

Guideline of Government Communications; and ensure, in coordination with the concerned SLC Organisational Units, that such standards are observed in all internal and external initiatives, programmes, and events

Effectively implement the procedures for proper storage of documents, reports, and administrative resolutions to enable retrieval of such documents upon request; and ensure archiving of completed matters as per procedures

Providing ideas and suggestions aimed at streamlining, updating and developing administrative procedures for documentation and archiving of case files to meet the work needs

Contribute to the preparation and update of the Corporate Communication Section’s work guidelines and procedural manuals, as well as to participate in the preparation of the Section’s Key Performance Indicators

Attend the Corporate Communication Section meetings, take notes, and follow up on the implementation, by the concerned Organisational Units, of the adopted decisions and recommendations

Provide the data, information, statistics and documents needed by the Corporate Communication Section, in accordance with the directives of the Line Manager on work-related matters

Prepare the annual and periodic reports on all the work and activities carried out, including an account of the Section’s achievements measured against Key Performance Indicators, providing accurate data and statistics, and identifying the obstacles and challenges encountered and the measures taken in that regard
