Business Development Manager

Locations: Dubai,United Arab Emirates
Division: Retail Banking

ROLE PURPOSE:
Manage existing & identify potential corporate relationships and offer them [email protected] program

Key Accountabilities of the role

1.    Identify corporates and business opportunities and scope [email protected] business potential.
2.    Ensure periodic meetings and visits to maintain up-to-date insight on assigned portfolio and share details with respective line manager
3.    Review of current products programs and perform benchmark with key competitors
4.     Develop & maintain relationships with key personal in identified corporates and present [email protected] proposition document to create new business avenues and enhanced accessibilities.
5.    Engage various business units throughout the identified opportunities, manage and ensure generating of business leads.
6.    Ensure proper closure of leads and resolution of complains.
7.    Develop cross-selling opportunities from leads sourced & identify products & policy enhancements to enhance acquisition.

Results:

1.    Work closely with Corporate Banking Group and other stakeholders on new and existing corporate clients in portfolio under management and scope business potential.
2.    Support to ensure relevant TML remarks are updated and regular review in place.
3.    Provide marketing intelligent on key competitors to ensure competitive proposition and packages are in place.
4.    Ensure the below tasks are met:
a.    Ensure up-to-date knowledge of products offerings and present to all corporates within assigned portfolios
b.    Strengthening relationship with employers/employees and cover them in [email protected] acquisition programs (onboarding, marketing kiosks, packages circulation and financial wellness sessions…etc.)
5.    Increase key products penetration within assigned portfolio (ACs, Assets and CC) and channel leads to tagged teams through Lead Management team
6.    Provide employees of corporates in assigned portfolio with superior service level and swift conversion of leads (within TAT) in coordination with Customer Excellency team.
7.    Propose campaigns, identify opportunities to increase products penetration and propose policy enhancement items that are portfolio/employer relevant.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge, Technical Competencies Required for this role:

•    Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in business administration, finance, or related field)
•    6  years’ experience in retail banking – front line Business Development preferred
•    Organizational talent: has strong planning and multitasking skills, can address many issues simultaneously
•    Strong communication skills
•    Strong team player
•    Willingness to travel within the UAE

  • Job Responsibilities:

    • Managing customer requirement from receipt of request Deal to verification and closure stage
    • Follow up with concern team to ensure card issuance processed within VIP TAT
    • Once card number issued ensure to verify all customer detailsLimitName Skyward number DDA
    • Perform welcome call to customer and guide him for card activation
    • Provide brief about card productbenefits along with cycle datedue date
    • Drive the team to encourage the spend of VIP customers
    • Monitor detect and understand card production issues fix them permanently
    • Analyze complaints to identify the root causes and core process issues and make appropriate system or process changes to resolve the same permanently
    • Preparing monthly reports on the nature and volume of VIP complaints and ensure potential VIP customers are identified
    • Day to day operations of the cards business including reward operations and dispute management
    • Handle and ensure that all BAU operations are conducted in a seamless fashion with no customer issues while all Bank processes are followed
    • Ensure continuous enhancement is conducted in the technology and operations for Credit Debit Cards

    Job Requirements:

    • VIP relations

    Regular in touch with VIP clients and ensure all their complaints inquiry resolved in high priority.Conduct regular due diligence of various processes to identify opportunities for process improvements andor efficiency enhancements and liaise with IT Network International and other partners to deliver these process enhancements.Verify all financial tasks executed by the team

    • Customer Service

    Monitor the nature and volume of complaints and customer service issues regularly and ensure all complaints are resolved on time with no escalations.Identify trends in customer complaints if any and make appropriate systemprocess enhancements to reduce complaints and improve customer experience.Ensure to resolve all SRscomplaints within TAT

    • Drive the Spend of VIP customers

    Observe and analyze usage trends from VIPs and build execute suitable engagement strategies to optimize and grow business from this segment.Ensure the team is in constant touch with the customers in tracking the spend.Recommend methods to increase the spend of customers

    • Tactical Technology Developments

    Identify opportunities for systems improvements and oversee the associated technology changes through requirement submission UATs and final implementation.
