Job Description:

Joining Culina Group as Service Desk Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape this role from day one and really make it your own. Ideally you will have experience in a similar Service Desk Manager role, working for a larger Group. This really is a value add role, so you’ll need to have new ideas and be proactive – but also be prepared to roll up your sleeves from time to time!

Information Technology is a critical part of our strategy and operation, and the Service Desk Manager plays a key role in that.

You will be leading service desk teams in multiple locations nationwide, so we are looking for someone with the flexibility to be out on the road.

What will you be do:

  • Team management, including managing holidays, expenses and absence.
  • Resolving any people management issues and yearly performance reviews.
  • Team mentoring and leadership; training and shaping the team to strive for excellence.
  • On boarding of new team members and encouraging the development of existing team.
  • Providing an escalation path for the business regarding any issues and queries.
  • Managing the allocation, prioritisation and progression of tasks.
  • Ensuring through regular audit checks that your team are adhering to the processes set for, logging and classification of incidents, investigations and diagnosis of incidents and new user account creation.
  • Analysing reports to ensure that the monitoring of incidents are escalated, resolved and closed in a timely manner.
  • Policy and procedural control checks such as auditing starter/leaver processes, asset registering and management.
  • Ad-hoc project delivery.


We’re looking for someone who has the following:

  • An excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Proven experience in a busy customer focused environment.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong customer focus.
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally working for a large Group.
  • Knowledge and experience of Warehouse or Transport Management Systems would be advantageous.
  • The flexibility to travel.
