Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Temporary HR Assistant must be able to support the Human Resources Department in its operational activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will provide support to the Manager, Human Resources, and to the overall Department to facilitate operations and support the effective and efficient functioning of the Department.

The candidate should have strong administrative experience, working within a busy office environment, while maintaining confidentiality at all times. The successful candidate will work on projects assigned by the Manager, Human Resources, will be involved in translating documents, and will support in the preparation of documents and reports as needed.

The successful candidate will also perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field is required

Experience:

Experience in administrative support is required

Language:

Fluency in written and spoken English language is required
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language is required

Other Required and Desirable Skills:

A professional and friendly nature with proactive attitude to work is required; good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively is essential. Department Profile:

The College of the North Atlantic – Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Budgeting and Analysis Specialist in the Finance Department. Reporting to the Section Head, Budgeting and Analysis, the Budgeting and Analysis Specialist must be competent with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Finance Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will provide necessary support in the preparation of CNA-Q’s budget plan. The successful candidate will maintain budget guideline policies and procedures, in addition to implementing them in alignment with the CNA-Q budget objectives. The candidate will review the allocation of expenditure, update the yearly budget, develop financial reports, review CNA-Q financial data, and report risk factors.

The Budgeting and Analysis Specialist will coordinate training workshops, and ensure proper implementation of a standard financial compliance system. He/she must maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and budget records in accordance with CNA-Q’s confidentiality policies.

The position incumbent will be required to serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders to address concerns and budget related issues. In addition, the Budgeting and Analysis Specialist must maintain a secure filing system, maintain appropriate documentation in PeopleSoft, and attend relevant training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field is required

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Budgeting and Analysis

Language:

Fluency in written and spoken English is required

Other Required Skills:

Good organization skills with a high standard of professional integrity. A proactive can-do attitude to work and good time management is essential. The ability to think analytically and solve problems and good attention to detail is required. Your commitment

Reporting to the Academic Manager of Foundation Studies, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of a broad range of preparatory courses within Foundation Studies. They will evaluate student progress and manage the resources of the learning environment.  The successful candidate will liaise with industry and other educational institutions; participate in industry advisory committees and coordinate, manage and control projects within the specified program area.  Faculty members will keep course portfolio documents required for accreditation processes and engage in instructional development/improvement plans. All employees are expected to contribute to professional and community life within the College and beyond.

For Senior Lecturer (Senior Technical Instructor)  

  • A minimum of Master’s degree (or equivalent as designated and approved) in a relevant discipline from a recognized, accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a post-secondary, adult training, or industry training environment,
  • A minimum of 5 years of employment experience as a practitioner/professional within the relevant discipline.

Other Required Skills: 

  • Commitment to applied and experiential learning as a pedagogy and a key feature of the College’s mandate
  • Ability to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessments incorporating contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning in context and to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes identified in program outcomes
