Media Manager

MAIN PURPOSE

The Media Manager is responsible for the strategy and diffusion of the regional media campaigns in the dedicated markets. He/She will work in close collaboration with multiple internal departments and external parties to ensure the execution, and optimization of cutting-edge online and offline campaigns. In addition, he/she will consolidate planning, campaigns results, content, competition monitoring, digital data, budget and calendars.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Media Strategy and Intelligence

Draft local market strategies and media recommendations with external media agencies, showcasing key placements and local media plan details
Manage media plan details, flowcharts, media roll-out and ad specs to keep internal stakeholders informed on latest happenings, campaign changes or optimizations
Lead paid media campaign tactical planning and execution with our external media agency, including channel mix modelling, identifying potential partners and areas of opportunity, activation, optimization, and final reporting
Responsible for monitoring competitor’s activities and gathering competitor’s intelligence

Media Management

Analyse and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns.
Track monthly budgets and spends by partner, staying informed on campaign developments and new partner offerings to evaluate
Review bi-weekly campaign reports and summarize insights and action items for internal stakeholders
Create and update daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Arabic translation check
Budget planning and monitoring

JOB PROFILE

EDUCATION AND Required experience

Bachelor’s degree in communications/media or related (essential).
5 years of work experience as a media manager or similar.

Technical skills / abilities

Time management and strong organizational skills
Knowledge of current media advertising landscape and a passion for marketing
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
Fluent in English – Arabic is a plus

Personal and behavior skills

Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
High attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be a self-starter, entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.

At Cartier, our Marketing & Communication team is growing and we are seeking a Marketing Manager to join the team responsible for implementing the marketing strategy across MEIA region to support sustainable growth in the business. In this exciting role, the Marketing Manager is responsible for defining product strategy, in-line with international guidelines, to ensure specific adaptation to local context and opportunities & identify and launch pilot products within MEIA.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Particiate in the definition of the regional product strategic plan, market analysis, activity analysis, budget proposal and action plans in order to reach targeted budget.
  • Collaborate with client, commercial and L&D teams to define cohesive action plans for the main strategic focuses.
  • Identify key growth drivers and areas for potential growth in MEIA region.

Lead main product categories and convey specific product expertise

  • Animate and lead dedicated communities to drive the business and reinforce the level of knowledge of the sales team.
  • Revise sales forecasts on a monthly basis and collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure adequate product supply.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising team to define assortments and revise every 3 months and manage stock objective / quality of the stock Collaborate on pricing strategy.
  • Share weekly and monthly sales report and qualitative insights for key stakeholders.

Launch new products and develop specific exclusivities for the MEIA region

  • Define and orchestrate detailed 360 product launch roadmaps based on Maison’s strategy (eg: Consensus / Delivery of products / Allocation to different networks / Training / CRM initiative / ATL & BLT campaigns / Hot spot visibilities in boutiques etc.) and coordinate its implementation with all the departments
  • Define sales forecasts and assortments in collaboration with Merchandising and Commercial teams.
  • Brief HQ on specific product development exclusivities for the region.
  • Follow up on sales and provide specific recommendations.
  • Lead and pilot transversal taskforces based on business and branding opportunities.

Monitor market intelligence

  • Collect competitive intelligence.
  • Build on methodology, processes and scope for market research (based on pricing, networks, launch and brand strategy).
  • Provide qualitative feedbacks to Regional teams / HQ on market trend and product recommendations.
  • Monitor market pricing and provide feedback to Regional teams on product price setting.
  • Identify product and branding opportunities and create dedicated reports to HQ.

Team management

  • Lead and motivate the team to reach Maison’s image and expectations.
  • Give clear goal to direct reports to be able to focus on key priorities and reach objectives.
  • Develops their talent and capabilities through understanding each one’ strength and to enhance their abilities.

V.I.E – Client Engagement and Services Coordinator

MAIN PURPOSE

As part of the our MEIA Client Relations Team in the role of V.I.E – Client Engagement and Services Coordinator, you will be responsible to achieve that client experience continues to be elevated across all touchpoints of the Cartier MEIA Region. You will thus be responsible to achieve this through three main pillars of activity, the Client Relations Center, the Client Barometer and Clients Services. The length of this V.I.E assignment is 12 months and ideally starts in September 2022, the position is based in Dubai.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Client Relations Center

  • Build and maintain strong and trustworthy relationship with the external agency team that provides Client Relations;
  • Act as the main point of contact in any case that requires support, work with internal stakeholders if required to provide a timely and accurate answer;
  • Support in the roll out of new channels and services like video call or an automated appointment booking tool;
  • Continuously seek to enhance the existing experience provided to clients by monitoring the team and enquiries received, identifying gaps and making recommendations on how to improve;
  • Support in the continuous development of the Client Relations Center team members;
  • Lead on any reporting and analysis as well as the animation of the team through dedicated initiatives;
  • Support in presenting updates and sharing information about the Client Relations Center with internal stakeholders;
  • Monitor the client experience across all channels to provide feedback and action plans for improvement.

    Client Barometer

  • Act as the regional expert on the Client Satisfaction survey tool;
  • Work closely with the Central team on all localizations and tool enhancements;
  • Support in maintaining the user access, user visibility and the proper functioning of the tool so the correct surveys are sent to clients;
  • Understand the results and contribute to the development of action plans in order to drive the ultimate objective of improved client satisfaction;
  • Train and develop the market teams in order to increase their knowledge and usage of the tool;
  • Identify areas of opportunity to develop the way the tool is used in the MEIA Region.

Client Services

  • Support in animating the client service community across all markets;
  • Support in developing the client service strategy in new markets like Turkey, Israel and India;
  • Work with the market teams to ensure their action plans are implemented;
  • Act as a client service key referent and provide ad hoc support for all market teams on client service topics;
  • Monitor and follow up on complaints, and analyse typology in order to build action plans to reduce overall volume and improve client satisfaction;
  • Work closely with the Client Engagement and Services Manager to identify areas of improvement in client services that are common to the region and action them with the market teams.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work in an agile manner in case required to support on topics beyond immediate scope of work, in particular, events;
  • Participate in planning the agenda and accompanying guests from other markets or the Central teams when they visit;
  • Proactively contribute to the MEIA Client Department in any way suitable.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? 

You have a Bachelor Degree in Communication or Marketing / Business Management and have ideally worked or seek interest in the Luxury Industry. You show strong communication skills, you are client-centric and goal oriented. Fluency in English is required, the knowledge of an additional language such as French or Arabic is a plus.
