IMETA Commercial Director

BSI are looking for a Commercial Director to provide Sales Leadership to the IMETA System Certification and Training Business. The incumbent will ensure growth of the META Assurance Business in the India, Middle East, Turkey and South Africa within the guidelines of the Strategic Plan.

As a Commercial Director you will be pivotal in:

  • Ensuring that the training & assessment sales targets /budgets are achieved for India, Turkey, ME, South Africa and result in the achievement of revenue and profit targets
  • Ensuring that the strategic plans & objectives for BSI Assurance Business in the India, Middle East, Turkey and South Africa region are developed & executed
  • Managing the Commercial / Sales Activities in the various countries including collaboration with the sales teams
  • Managing the development and implementation of a client relationship protocol including a business development infrastructure to ensure financial viability and business sustainability in IMETA
  • Strategic relationship building as well as maintaining a targeted key & corporate account relationships across IMETA
  • Managing and co-ordinating the implementation of the Assurance SC and Training business development strategies and projects within agreed standards and deadlines
  • Ensuring the effective onboarding, training & development, performance and management of winning sales/commercial teams

As a Commercial Director for BSI you will be/have:

  • Relevant experience combined with solid technical exposure and  P&L experience plus demonstrated business and financial acumen combined with sales and marketing experience
  • Knowledge of relevant Standards, Legislation, sales,  marketing principles, training and certification products
  • Exceptional skills in Leadership; Planning & organizing; Problem solving & analysis; Commercial awareness; Action orientation; Strategic thinking; resilience

BSI are looking for a Training Director to implement the vision, mission and strategy for accelerated, sustainable and profitable growth of the training stream in IMETA. They will also advise and consult with the regional executive, country managers and stream leaders on the adoption of proven commercial strategies for growth, including improvements to their teams, processes, systems and product deployment.

As a Training Director you will:

  • Contribute to and to deliver the training stream strategic plan
  • Deliver the training stream budget – achieving targets for sales, revenues, gross profit and contribution
  • Lead and performance manage the strategic initiatives and key business elements for the region including Enterprise Training Solutions, Partner/Reseller Management, Marketing / e-commerce hub, Telesales hub, Client delivery hub, Qualifications, Tutor Community
  • Deploy and maximise market penetration of the global training portfolio
  • Work with the enterprise and resellers managers to implement a fit for purpose and high profitable resellers and enterprise strategy
  • Work on a leaner and more strategic customer journey through digital transformation
  • Work with the Head of service delivery for training to understand and implement an efficient and best in class training delivery, and maximise with training other sales opportunities

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven track record of commercial leadership for a region and / or multiple territories, having effectively worked and developed business abroad with a proven revenue growth record
  • Highly competent in marketing and marketing automation, qualifications and proven past experiences
  • Deep social media and digital marketing knowledge and proven qualifications
  • Experience with Digital transformation projects
  • Ability to speak a fluent English plus one or more European languages
  • Proficient with sales force at high level, preferred knowledge of Pardot
  • P&L responsibility
  • Entrepreneurial and international business development skills
  • Proven ability to develop relationships on C-level and engage with customers to establish an understanding of their business drivers
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience of working in a KPI driven environment
  • Experience preferably in commercial events / training / publishing or related
