  • About this role: GL Accountant

    1. Perform as per approved procedures of month- end financial closing activities, ensuring that

    closing procedures are efficient and reliable, and in compliance with Operations

    &Maintenance, Joint Venture, and Service Agreements

    2. Perform financial master data creation and maintenance for company, all Joint Venture

    Companies and Common Facilities (e.g. vendor, customer, cost objects, GL accounts).

    3. Perform Accounts Reconciliation process for all companies, ensuring the propriety of

    financial reports through a well-controlled Accounts Reconciliation process.

    4. Interface with other Finance divisions to obtain/provide financial information and utilize

    financial documents (e.g. statistical key figures, impact of allocation).

    5. Prepares GL routine reports (e.g. month end closing KPI, vendor monitoring report, accounts

    reconciliation management report.

    6. Recommends efficiency improvements to base routines. Normally refers decisions to

    supervisor.

    7. Participate in routine and non-routine specific projects within set terms of reference and

    defined processes. Assist senior colleagues in the preparation of reports. Delivers work

    following established guidelines and procedures. Collates routine and non-routine data into

    standard output, supports analysis, processes financial transactions and performs

    reconciliations.

    8. Provide advice and guidance to graduates to assist them in delivering the required outputs and

    promoting their development

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce

    • 3 years of experience in a Finance function in the Oil & Gas Industry.

    • Working knowledge of SAP/ accounting systems.

About this role

  • To assist Procurement Team in Technical Bid evaluation of critical items;
  • To organize and / or participate to Contractor / Sub-Contractor / Vendors qualification and follow-up Audits when necessary;
  • To support the Project work package teams to develop and implement the criticality assessment and COMPANY surveillance plans;
  • To support the Project work package teams to ensure contractors develop and implement adequate surveillance plans;
  • To be the focal point for Surveillance and TPI frame agreements, selection of inspectors, Service Order process and Notification Of Inspection (NOI);
  • To be in charge of reviewing the inspection reports, to report main information to concern work packages, analyze and resolve issues and problems emerging during the quality control activity;
  • Ensure that all planned Surveillance and Test activities comply with the specified requirements;
  • Follow-up and tracking of the Deviation Requests, Correctives Action Requests (CARs) and Non Conformance Reports (NCRs);
  • To implement KPI on Quality Control and Surveillance activities;
  • Participate in Contractor investigations of significant Quality failures and offshore/installation failures;
  • To report regularly to his hierarchical superior and carry out any other duty or task that may be assigned;
  • To review documentation from main Contractor and Vendor;
  • To provide feed-back on Contractor, Vendor and Surveillance / TPI agencies and implement recommendations for future projects;
  • To perform periodic meeting with Contractor Quality representative and Certifying Authority (CA) in order to assess progress and findings of the CA work.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Engineering Master degree or experienced technician with HND/HNC and minimum of 15 years experiences in the oil and gas industry;
  • Professional Experience (number of years): Around 10 years of experience associated with Quality Management in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, coordination of quality activities within Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Hook-up, Brown-Field, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up projects of offshore facilities (jacket/topsides) in the Oil and Gas Industry;
  • Vocational qualifications: Lead Assessors Course;
  • The ability to communicate well at all levels within the Company and to demonstrate leadership. In addition, the candidate must possess very good planning, presentation, negotiations and organizational skills;
  • Familiar with General Specifications, EDMS and relevant codes and standards;
  • Language: Fluent English.

About this role

  • Responsible for the daily running and management of the centre through the effective use of resources, including sourcing equipment, effective resource planning and implementing call centre strategies and operations;

  • Conduct monthly one to one meetings with each management team member to cover individual performance against KPI’s and other relevant updates;
  • Forecasting and analysing data against budget figures on a weekly and/or monthly basis;
  • Design and/or execute change-management strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of people management experience, preferably in a call centre environment;
  • Third level degree preferable;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office programs;
  • Excellent people management, time management skills and communication skills;
  • A passion for customer service with strong customer focus and excellent telephone manner;
  • In-depth knowledge of internal procedures and policies and multi-channel support, combined with an excellent track record in efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Leadership skills and proven record in implementing motivational methods in which to drive performance to the next level;
  • A desire to help others work towards targets and develop their skills;
  • Confidence and a good business sense;
  • Ability to set, meet and exceed targets;
  • A focused and self-motivated approach to work;

About this role

1. Ensures agreed operational procedures associated with operating and controllingthe installed (or virtual) Telecommunication system hardware and software are followed. This may include configuration and maintenance of multiple Telecommunication system hardware or software platforms. Implements maintenance routines, utilising the appropriate tools and test equipment. Uses standard procedures and tools to carry out defined system backups, restoring data where necessary;

2. Supports use of Telecommunication infrastructure management tools to collect and report on load and performance data and statistics. Carries out required monitoring, logging and reporting tasks;

3. Supports use of Telecommunication infrastructure management tools and test equipment to automate the provisioning, testing and deployment of new and changed Telecommunication system infrastructure. Facilitates and oversees installation, removal, upgrading and repair of equipment;

4. Identifies Telecommunication system operational problems and contributes to their resolution. Investigates, diagnoses and resolves low impact operational problems following incident management procedures, within service level agreement tolerances, referring to users, other staff, and suppliers, as necessary. Takes action on known Telecommunicationsystem errors and documented workarounds, logging such actions and advising supervisor or specialists when management or specialist attention is required;

5. Installs or removes Telecommunication system hardware and/or software, using supplied installation instructions and tools; follows agreed standards, including those for Low voltage electrical work. Agrees the timing of the work with those affected, e.g. users, operations management, including, where appropriate, hand-over to client;

6. Conducts tests of the Telecommunication system hardware and/or software affected using supplied test procedures and diagnostic tools. Helps to resolve problems and faults, and corrects malfunctions, calling on help from more experienced colleagues if required;Documents results in accordance with agreed procedures;

7. Applies standard user/system interfaces, including reports, validation and error correction procedures, processing rules, access, security and audit controls, recovery routines and contingency procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Systems or other relevant discipline;
  • 5 years of IT experience (ideally within Oil & Gas industry)Competent knowledge in core skill applications, tools, and techniques
    Conversant with relevant IT national and international standards Demonstrated experience in project management Demonstrated experience in IT support environment.
