Role purpose

The Corporate Services Officer (CSO) co-ordinates the details of service delivery execution for corporate contracts and leads on financial management and customer care duties towards our corporate clients from the B2B, B2G and B2I sectors.

The postholder is involved throughout the customer journey from the initial signing of contract through the delivery stages and finishing with the organisation of end of course customer reports and feedback. This is then followed by further engagement with the client and the cluster Sales Account Manager on future agreements and details of repeat and/or new business.

Liaising effectively with Operations and Customer Service teams locally and regionally, the CSO will engage frequently with contracted corporate clients to ensure delivery standards are maintained and the financial management of each contract is carried out compliantly and to agreed deadlines.

The role is a critical one as the postholder leads the back-end processes once sales opportunities have been closed with our growing number of corporate clients.

Main Accountabilities:
Finance and Resource management
▪    Invoices clients in line with financial compliance
▪    Manages corporate payments and monitors debt as part of debt control team in country/cluster
▪    Organises legal documentation and keeps accurate records of government support schemes and funding organisation scholarships linked to corporate contracts
▪    Runs essential SAP and TCMS reports on agreed financial timetable to support monitoring of corporate income and maintenance of audit trail

Customer Support
▪    Works closely with Customer Management team in the registering and onboarding of customers (including B2B placement/testing)
▪    Liaises with Customer Management team to manage changes/amendments to B2B and B2B2C class lists
▪    Informs Delivery team of concerns flagged by clients to help make improvements in customer experience

Service and product delivery support
▪    Leads on process for end of course reports and certificates for B2B clients –liaising effectively with Ops and Delivery teams, and ensures all deadlines met
▪    Runs feedback/ Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system and collates results for presentation to client and sales colleagues

Relationship and Stakeholder management
▪    Listens to client needs and requests regarding future cohorts and new courses
▪    Works closely with Sales & Account Manager to provide accurate and timely data to the client as well as building opportunities for repeat and new business

Managing self and others
Tasks and coordinates others (e.g. internal colleagues or external contractors/suppliers) to complete time-limited, straightforward activities, within established procedures, to ensure efficient delivery of services. Monitors task completion to agreed quality and time standards

Essential Requirements:
•    3+ years of customer management experience
•    Proficient user of SAP or equivalent financial software
•    Familiarity with Salesforce or use of similar CRM
•    Local language at fluent level for speaking and writing. English level at minimum of intermediate level speaking and writing
•    University degree in a relevant subject or discipline

Desirable requirements:

•    Sales related experience in large sectors (e.g. financial services, media, pharmaceuticals tourism etc)

Online English Senior Performance Marketing Manager

Main Accountabilities:

  • Develop and establish a strong global customer acquisition and sales growth plan for our paid Marketing channels
  • Own all paid marketing channels from end-to-end (SEO, PPC, Retargeting, Display, Native, Paid Sponsorships)
  • Daily monitoring of ROI, budgets and campaign performance across all paid Marketing channels to ensure a strong return on investment and efficient CAC
  • Provides expertise and practical support to the Head of Online English Marketing with data on paid Marketing channel performance and insights
  • Optimises user conversion rates from users targeted through the paid Marketing channels
  • Ensures that the CAC is optimised according to its set country benchmarks
  • Ensuring ad creatives are engaging, impactful and digitally optimized across all relevant platforms
  • Conducts forecasting and estimations on the profitability of paid Marketing campaigns.
  • Optimises targeting and segmentation, as well as the allocation of budgets across multiple paid Marketing channels to generate cost effective user actions.
  • Support with insights on competitor analysis and market research and share results with the Online English Team

Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to support exams operations and help ensure exams integrity on the ground. This role will need to ensure resources meet pre-agreed customer requirements.  This role is responsible for efficient, effective and compliant Test Day delivery, supporting operations on the ground, setting standards and guiding venue staff.
The role will need to be on standby during exam sessions and troubleshoot or escalate issues for prompt resolution.

Main Accountabilities:

Service Delivery
▪ Receives instructions and requests from Test Day Officer and organises given resources accordingly (often at short notice) to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and effectively
▪ Adapts work plans based on the Test Day Officer’s recommendations and where necessary meet customer expectations.
▪ Supervises and monitors administration of tests by proctors and supervisors; ensures that test instructions are accurate and that appropriate testing environments are maintained.
▪ Uses a range of standardised systems and processes to support the delivery of high-quality services to a range of customers (internal and/or external)
▪ Keeps informed of advancing technology in standardized test administration, computer-based testing, machine scoring, and associated software

Customers/ Relationship and stakeholders
▪ Assisting in researching and obtaining satisfactory and timely resolution of complex/escalated customer (internal or external) operational complaints and issues, coordinating input from other colleagues/departments/managers as required, to do so.
▪ Provides routine direction, information, and advisement to students and prospective students in regard to testing policies, procedures, and outcomes
▪ Develops good working relationships with appropriate colleagues throughout the British council to facilitate effective and efficient service delivery
▪ Develops strong relationships with British Council owned and managed venues and provides feedback for improvements as per audit standards

Risk and compliance

▪ Uses standardised processes to monitor venue staff compliance with agreed corporate risk management procedures relevant to service delivery (e.g. child protection, security policies, financial protocols, anti-fraud measures) to protect the interests of the British Council and its customers at all times.
▪ Supervises venue staff which typically includes recommendations for performance evaluation, work allocation, and problem resolution
▪ Ensures that all test administration is carried out in compliance with relevant university and higher education policies, regulations, guidelines, and standards
