Summary Roles

The Strategic Managed Services Leader will be responsible for growth of our customer service and managed service contracts. In this role, you will be responsible for an orders and contracts op plan, defining target markets and customers, and working cross functionally to define contractual services strategies and structures. You will also be working hand in hand with sales teams and customers to drive orders, as well as obtaining voice of the customer (VOC) to drive strategy and execution improvements


  • Be responsible for orders growth inside and outside the existing contractual base. Particular focus on contract renewals and scope enhancement inside the existing contractual base.
  • Develop and Incorporate Customer Success methodology and deliverables in Service Agreement management team.
  • Work with Technology, Sales and Product Management teams to develop the next generation of Managed Service agreements.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Product Line and Demand Generation teams to define target markets and customers, as well as building and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities to drive visibility and forecasting.
  • Work directly with customers to obtain VOC on current and potential contract offerings and structures.
  • Work closely with existing regional contract managers to develop strategies on contract and customer management, financial forecasting & reporting rigor.
  • Develop a clear vision on the business and strategy in close interaction with the NC and BH Leadership teams.  Lead initiatives on complex issues.
  • Communicate progress, strategies & financials to all levels of the organization including Executive leadership
  • Support Growth Services Playbook (GSP), Medium Range Planning (MRP), and Annual Plan (AP) processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited university/college
  • 5 years in a strategic product, services or sales oriented role
  • 3 years in customer service/success or customer contract/project management
  • Proven team leadership skills, ability to effectively influence and motivate others
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and ambition to improve current performance

Desired Characteristics

  • 5 years of technical experience in commercial, services or project management roles
  • 5 years of experience in chemicals, metals, paper industry, water, desalinization, alternative fuels, or renewables
  • 5 years of experience in Power Generation, Oil & Gas (O&G) / Energy
  • 5 years of digital/IoT experience
  • 5 years controls experience (Pwr Gen, O&G Pipeline, DCS applications, PLC, etc.)
  • Leadership, Black Belt, or Group Facilitation experience
  • High proficiency with computer tools (MS Office suite)
  • Technical communication & business acumen to drive overall solutions/rigor to meet customer needs.

Location: Preferred location Longmont – Colorado, opened to other locations in the USA Remote.
