Aramex Qatar Jobs Description 2022

Job Title: Credit Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Support credit officers at stations achieve ACP, collection and provision targets
  • Responsible for all accounts receivables related reporting to internal & external auditors
  • Assist/support financial managers in decision making and in applying Aramex credit policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with regional financial controllers to ensure all credit policies and procedures are in place
  • Monitor and control the aging of receivables & payables
  • Control blocked & “in-progress to be blocked” accounts through monitoring the Auto-Block system and following up with stations
  • Ensure customer receipts are updated on daily basis
  • Audit invoice issuance and make sure all are issued on system
  • Weekly check on all credit terms and limits and ensure they are assigned properly
  • Check and clear unapplied payments in coordination with stations
  • Prepare and analyse weekly aging reports to identify top accounts affecting the station
  • Check, evaluate and confirm the monthly bad debt calculation for stations
  • Follow up on legal files with stations
  • Audit all cash accounts at stations
  • Adhere with company HSSE, compliance and sustainability corporate policies

Job Requirements (Experience and Education)

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a similar field
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a fast-paced industry
  • Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining a team.
  • Knowledgeable of the shipping and transportation field is a plus
  • Proven work experience as a Credit Manager, Credit Analyst or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software
  • Solid understanding of lending procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets
  • Negotiation skills
  • Have a thorough knowledge of credit-related laws

Job Title: Sr. Procurement officer

Reporting To: Regional Procurement Manager

Accountable to: Station Manager

Department: Global Procurement

Job Location: Qatar

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with suppliers to minimize cost and maximize benefits.
  • Facilitate the station / operations in decision making related to purchasing requirements.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications and liaise with shared services as needed.
  • Collaborate with legal, financial and operational entities to draft and negotiate major agreements and supplier contracts.
  • Prequalify, manage and monitor supplier performance.
  • Ensure adherence with the company policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Draft agreements, RFQ (Request for Quotation), RFI (Request for Information), (Request for Proposal), and draw comparisons/recommendations
  • Custodian of all documents hard & soft copies.
  • Control cost/expenses and build a culture of long-term saving on purchasing cost.
  • Analyze spending trends and identify opportunities to consolidate spending.
  • Responsible for operational aspects of day-to-day procurement requirements of the Station
  • Take all necessary measures to avoid supply chain disruption of goods & services without compromising quality and standards

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate with at least 5 – 8 years of experience predominantly in Procurement is a must.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of Ariba
  • CIPS qualification (any level) is an added advantage.
